Today in Luke we consider the story of Zacchaeus, a man of short stature and a penchant for extorting money from his fellow Israelites as a tax collector for Rome, who had heard about Jesus coming his way and sought a place to see this Jesus, the one who cam to seek and save the lost. Consider this story of the radical grace of salvation that led to a radical response of transformation: from extortionist to philanthropist.
